ASHS 2025 Conference

Amy Bruzzichesi, MSW, HTR is a therapeutic horticulturist, horticultural therapist, and career social worker with a background in elder care, medical social work, and the nonprofit world. Amy is part of NC Cooperative Extension as the Therapeutic Horticulture Program Manager, sustaining the partnership with NC Botanical Garden to administer and co-instruct the four-course therapeutic horticulture online certificate series while providing support and outreach to agents in all 100 North Carolina counties as well as other states looking to add therapeutic horticulture to Extension. Amy also has a private practice working with clients to provide therapeutic horticulture services which meet the needs of people facing changes and challenges through plant- and garden-based therapeutic activities.
