Post Doc at University of Georgia with over 15 years of experience in molecular breeding and gene editing in crops. Research expertise spans drought tolerance in chickpea, TYLCV resistance in tomato, salinity tolerance in rice, genetic mapping in banana, and currently focused on disease resistance in peppers. Skilled in trait mapping with contributions to 20 peer-reviewed publications. Earned PhD from ICRISAT, India and completed short-term research at University of Adelaide, Australia. Specialized in developing molecular markers for crop improvement and implementing precision breeding approaches for stress resilience.
